Three Important Spanish Expressions for Daily Conversations: QUE ONDA?, AHORITA, and SALSA

When you learn words and expressions you can use in regular conversations, learning a new language is both enjoyable and rewarding.

Three crucial Spanish words—QUE ONDA?, AHORITA, and SALSA—will be demonstrated in this post.

QUE ONDA? Both "what's up" and "how are you doing?" are frequently used greetings in Spanish. It's a fantastic way to start a conversation in Spanish and show off your language proficiency.

A useful word that means "now" or "immediately" is AHORITA. It's a Latin American expression that can be used to describe an action that is currently taking place or will take place soon. BUT… in Mexico, things are a little bit different:

Ahorita is so relative that you can use it to mean: right now, now, in one hour, 2 or more hours, today, tonight, tomorrow, on these days, no later than this month, no more than a year.

Finally, you may have heard of the term "SALSA.” It refers to both the sauce and popular Latin American music and dance. Salsa dancing is a great way to practice your Spanish while having a good time.

Regarding the sauce, you have a choice between red and green tomato sauce as well as the level of heat you prefer.

Learn these words to make your Spanish better!
